General Rambling

Considering it has been a week since I last posted, I thought I would put together a whole bunch of thoughts/concepts/ideas/rambles into one post.

1. Summer is officially over. What a bummer! I enjoy the warm weather, especially recovering from cancer treatments and when I want to spend time with my girlfriend.
2. Gil will be getting married in less than two weeks and yes, that is a miracle.
3. I have my next follow-up scan and appointment in about two weeks. I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about it (although I feel great).
4. I'm going to play flag football on Sunday. This should be interesting because I haven't tested my stamina quite like I will Sunday. I imagine my legs will be pretty stiff and/or sore on Monday.
5. My brother sent me an interesting link today (A test drive of the concept car that will hopefully become the new Chevy Camaro).
6. My old roommie is in town from Japan. Its good to have him here. The funny thing is we have talked more this past week than we probably did in two months (it helps that he isn't working while out here).
7. Kevin Costner is filming a new movie in N.M. and part of that filming is happening here at work. I'm hoping I can accomplish several things while this is happening: a) Free food b) Volunteer to be an extra should they be needed c) Maybe get Mr. Costner to autograph my copy of Field of Dreams d) Keep my car from getting banged up while having to park in the dirt lot too small for all the cars at work.
8. I've been playing with a DVD recorder at work. Very cool. When I'm rich and famous I'll buy one. Until then, I just have to wait another month then I will buy a new t.v.
9. The UNM Alumni as Faculty/Staff luncheon is tomorrow! Hurray! I'm all for free lunch and free UNM t-shirts.
10. Registration for our Singles retreat is going slow (so stop thinking about it and sign up already!). We still need 200 more people to sign up.

That's pretty much it. Sorry I put so much into one post but then again, your opinion isn't that important...

The Great Office Move

Well, they finally got me to move offices. I can't say I'm fired up about it but at least people will be lost for a while trying to find me. On the 27th, the rest of the people move into my old office so I will be moving computers like crazy that day.

In other news, you have two short months of shopping days until my birthday. I'm going to spare you the agony - send me cash! That always works great.
