Music to My Ears

Isiah, it's been nice knowing you, although you've never given us a chance to know you. After all, you are the face of the franchise and the names and faces of the franchise have changed so much these last few years that we don't know who the real you is.

I hope you have a good attorney because MSG will not be behind you during your sexual harassment case this time next year.

To the team, I hope you guys tank it next season. It will be nice to have a real basketball man running the team in the future.

Good News for Me

I desire to live to be 102 years old and celebrate the tricentennial celebration of the United States. I have a lot of factors going for me according to this study including:
- Being the first born
- Being born to a woman under the age of 25
- Having relatives with longevity (family members typically live into their late 80's or 90's)

My chances of making it are doubled. Of course, the chances of making it are pretty slim to begin with...

Happy Father's Day & More

To all the dad's that read DDJT, Happy Father's Day to you. You deserve a day of recognition and praise.

In other news, congratulations to Bill & Heather. Nothing but the best for you as you start the next step in life as a married couple.
And, because of the wedding yesterday, Natalie is in town but she is leaving tomorrow. It is so hard to say good-bye to her a second time this year. If I don't think about it I'm fine but when I start to dwell on it that's when my eyes tear up. I certainly can't wait until she either moves here (which she is really trying to do) or I visit her.

Four Month Warning

I was reminded last night that I have one month to get Natalie's birthday gift, which must mean that you now have 4 months to shop for my birthday gift.

Expedia.com is offering round trip airfare and hotel room for 4 nights for $571. That would be nice for someone who wants to visit the east coast this year.

Now My Week Becomes Fun!

In addition to my normal activities during the week, this week is a little bit more hectic.
Natalie has arrived and will be here through Monday.
Gil & Susan arrive sometime this weekend.
Cherise will be here tomorrow.
And I found out Melissa Ostrander will be here this weekend too.
Not to mention Bill & Heather's wedding.

All that is missing is the people I grew up with spiritually and it would be a rocking time this weekend.

Father's Day Gift

OK loyal readers (all three of you), I'm in dire need of a good idea for a father's day gift. Right now I'm leaning towards a gift card to a restaurant for my dad, however, I'm open to suggestions.

Happy Birthday Carla

I wont divulge how old you are. I'll just say you are in double digits.

Thanks for your support over these last years. I couldn't manage without it.

I hope you have a great day and take some time to spoil yourself either today or this week.

I don't know if I can handle reading this one again.
