It's A Guy Thing
These look pretty neat. I just wish I had the $$$ for them.

According to this morning's Bob & Tom show...
Throughout my life (and especially recently), I have very vivid memories of being told to "pay attention" and "wake up" by numerous people, most notably my dad. Now I'm not here to blame my dad for how I was raised. I'm here to ask the question, why is it I get so focused and distracted at the same time? For example, Natalie and I spent time together after work. We went to see my grandfather (who has improved dramatically from last week - thank you God!!!!!!). He is in ICU. We went to the ICU and looked at only half of the rooms there. We didn't see him and immediately my mind shifted gears to thinking who do I call to find out the room that he is in? Meantime, Natalie was telling me to stop and ask one of the nurses in the ICU where he was. Now this is important, I didn't give consideration to what she was saying. I simply blew her off and came up with a reason not to ask (when in reality I didn't want to ask them because if he wasn't on that floor, I would look like an idiot. Instead, I looked like an idiot - go figure). You can imagine that didn't make Natalie feel good at all. We did get it resolved but I have to ask, why am I like this? I can't put my finger on one thing that made me this way. When did I consciously decide that I wasn't going to listen to people anymore? Why did I make that decision? How much longer before I change it?

If you don't know who Stephen A. Smith is, he is a loud mouthed "Expert" that was hired by ESPN to give "expert" analysis of NBA and some other sports covered by the network. In addition, he was on the radio in New York City until yesterday when the ESPN higher-ups decided to pull the plug on his radio show, to which I say "good riddance". He sucked, bad. Sports talk and analysis just improved 1000% as a result of this decision.
