Wedding Countdown Begins

Now that we have a location and a date set, Natalie and I have embarked on the Psalm a day tradition. In case you are wondering, this allows both of us to read the same thing everyday and discuss it. It is meant to promote spiritual growth and communication between the couple.

I have been anxiously awaiting for this! Now I'm starting to really believe that I'm getting married.

More Wedding News

We finally have a location!!!!! :)

Natalie put a deposit on a location that has the view she wanted and allows us to have a fairly large number of guests at the wedding and reception.

Tonight, we get with our wedding coordinators to discuss a timeline of things to do.

I hope invitations will be sent out soon.

In other news, Grandpa's health hasn't improved. He does blink his eyes and he shows signs of response when you touch him. I take that as good news. As always, your thoughts and prayers are appreciated.

That's all for now.

Wedding Update

We are looking at two possible locations, if money were no option.

Tanoan
Embassy Suites Hotel

Natalie likes Tanoan - it will provide the backdrop she wants for our wedding pictures. The only problem is it will limit who we can invite to the wedding.

Embassy suites has some options but isn't quite what she wants. However, it does allow us to have a full invitee list.

Oh the joys of wedding planning.

Another "Yes"

As of 6:15 PM last night, I am now engaged to the most perfect woman in the world!

And the best part of it all, as scared and nervous as I was, asking Natalie to marry me was really, really easy.

I plan on remembering that as our wedding day approaches.

Thank you Matt & Sharon for your help.
Thank you Robert for keeping me sane, cooking and being here.
Thank you Gwen for being the "monkey" in the middle.
Thank you Isaac for taking time from your Saturday to help decorate.
Thank you to my family for your unconditional love and support.
Thank you to everyone who prayed for this to happen.

You'll be receiving invitations in the mail once we find a place and date!

Update: Here is a picture of the ring

and she still says "yes".
